HOW DO I DETERMINE IF I AM ELIGIBLE FOR RELIEF UNDER MINNESOTA LAW?
A simple way to determine if you qualify to have your records sealed, review the requirements of Minnesota Statute 609A.
To be eligible for sealing your record, you must one of the following conditions:
- You were found "not guilty" or the outcome was in "your favor"
- You pled guilty and received a "Stay of Imposition" or a "Stay of Adjudication" and the charge was later dismissed
- You were not convicted of murder, aggravated assault, driving while intoxicated, and sex offender crimes
